Wrong redirect from Search page

If a user decides to go to UserPrefernces page from the search page, a wrong
redirect parameter is put in the URL :
http://xxx/UserPreferences.jsp?redirect=Search
After saving the preferences, the user is taken to a page "Search" resulting in
an error message "This page does not exist. Why don't you go and create it? "
