If it is to be included at all, I would place it under WEB-INF/misc so that it can be copied one level up by geronimo users.
If we start placing extension configuration for servlet containers directly in WEB-INF (resin-web.xml, geronimo-web.xml, etc.) it will become cluttered fast and servers like WebSphere probably will choke on those extra files. -----Original Message----- From: Jürgen Weber (JIRA) [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: dinsdag 15 december 2009 16:03 To: [email protected] Subject: [jira] Created: (JSPWIKI-619) Include geronimo-web.xml in JSPWiki.war Include geronimo-web.xml in JSPWiki.war --------------------------------------- Key: JSPWIKI-619 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JSPWIKI-619 Project: JSPWiki Issue Type: Task Affects Versions: 2.8.3 Reporter: Jürgen Weber Priority: Trivial Fix For: 2.8.4, 3.0 /trunk/src/WebContent/WEB-INF/geronimo-web.xml should be included in JSPWiki.war to make installing easier for Geronimo users Tomcat ignores the file (I hope/believe ;-) Same might be useful for deployment descriptors of other app servers. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - You can reply to this email to add a comment to the issue online.
