Florian Holeczek commented on JSPWIKI-716:
------------------------------------------

Hi Andrew,

no, I've just removed the fix version, because 2.8.4 has already been released
a long time ago.

I'm sorry I can't answer your question:

Does anyone knows whether this has ever worked in version 2.8.4 using Linux?

Since the Subversion provider isn't part of the JSPWiki core distribution,
there is nothing to fix here. You will have to check/fix it on your own or
contact the developer of this provider directly.
Just for explaining it a bit: There are many third party providers, plugins
etc. around. Such a piece of software can only become part of the core
distribution if there's some maintainer around, taking care of sustained
operability.

I propose to close this issue as "Won't Fix" in a few days.

Best regards
 Florian

> it works apart from the change note, not appeared after editing.
> I discovered from https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JSPWIKI-595 that it
> will be fixed in 3, but I want to know whether subversion provider works in
> 2.8.4 or not
