Glen Mazza commented on JSPWIKI-748:
------------------------------------
Main Wiki is certainly better than Main Site (for main site *is* the Apache
JSPWiki home page), but I don't like that either for another reason, namely, I
think the information on http://doc.jspwiki.org/2.4/ and
http://www.jspwiki.org/ can and should be merged, instead of retaining two
sites with overlap between each other. As a JSPWiki newbie, I'm not sure if
the information I'm interested in is on the first site or the second, and it's
annoying/irritating to have to keep flipping between the two. (If anything, I
would recommend renaming Doc Wiki to Main Wiki and getting rid of Legacy
Site--the information at Legacy Site can be split between the Apache JSPWiki
site and the Doc Wiki site.) I'm not sure where Doc Wiki and Sandbox Wiki will
eventually go (either hosted separately or on apache.org), but it's my hope
that Legacy Site will eventually be returning a 404 regardless.
Anyway, just my $0.02. Feel free to flip it back to whatever makes you more
comfortable.

> Attached website patch removes some dead and/or underused links and otherwise
> helps make the site more current. The Apache Incubator site for this project
> lists two more mentors than given on the site's People page so I added them
> in also. Note I was not able to test the changes locally, so will need to
> rely on a committer so doing, as I had various problems
> (https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-5378) getting the Apache CMS
> build scripts to run on my machine.
