Hi, with Apache 2.2 it is possible to connect ajp with mod_proxy:
ProxyPass /jsp-examples ajp://localhost:8009/jsp-examples ProxyPassReverse /jsp-examples ajp://localhost:8009/jsp-examples (see http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/mod_proxy.html) So you have the same effect like mod_jk.except using features load balancing. And install the module from the easy way: apt-get install libapache2-mod-jk If you have some problems in the configurations steps just ask.
