Haven't had any problems for now with Tomcat 6.0.16-16, Sun JDK 1.5-1.6. Remember adding the URIEncoding="UTF-8" to each connector.
Harry, did you forget to mention this or don't you have to do it on your z/OS or whatever you're running?
