It is very likely that these are due to the known WikiSession vs.
EventManager memory leak which was removed in later 2.4 series
(2.4.97, IIRC).
I would highly recommend that you upgrade to the latest stable
release (2.6.3 at the writing of this), or at least to 2.4.104.
We no longer support 2.4 at all...

BTW, my jspwiki 2.4.69 is installed with a customised authenticator.
Will it somehow affect the behavior of WikiEventManager? What is
WikiEventManager used for?

Have a look at the 2.4 ChangeLog at [1]... Quite a long fix list from
.69 to .104, isn't it? ;-)
Especially this one fixed in 2.4.84 might be interesting for you:
* Fixed a memory leak in JSPWikiMarkupTranslator, found by Aron
Gombas.
