Ooops! I shot that off too quickly. As of 2.5.19, the only use of a
WeakReference (of which I'm aware) is in SessionMonitor, per my comment
below. Apparently, in the meanwhile, some additional use of
WeakReference has come into later versions. So, I think Murray's
confusion made sense (though is a bit OBE now).
