I checked the rename pages of brushed and default - they are pretty much equal. I've seen rename instabilities in the past. Mostly, the rename seems to crash as it returns an error page. But the rename actually was performed in the backend succesfully.
@technokrat, can you confirm that the rename actually also failed in the backend ? Currently, rename is properly working fine with brushed.
