features documented? I am long due an update on our wiki, and I need to
update my plugins as well, but I had so much trouble with security
issues in the past that I keep postponing it. I am really looking
forward for a version that has an easy security setup for an intranet
and I am hoping that the "local security policies" could help with that.

The 2.6 security model is really local - that is, it works without you having to sign the JAR files. Otherwise, it works just like 2.4 security.

As for workflow, it sounds cool and useful - but I'd rather read an
overview instead of having to reverse engineer the code to decide if
that is really the case.

The workflow system is very generic, but it's currently mostly documented on javadoc level. You can't change workflows without going to the metal, so this is mostly a non-issue to regular users. I hope that Andrew will write a feature article on that someday :-)
