Hi,

there were already some speaking about taking over/forking.
All of them calmed down pretty soon.

My advise is: Develop something new first and then eventually
start thinking about a fork.

But I'm pretty suer there is no need for a fork: If you want to do something,
simply do it and don't just talk about doing it.
