Actually there is an Ant script in CVS for building JTS. This isn't
distributed since there are more components to the build than are
included with the final build package.
Currently there is no Maven build.

As far as I know, Martin does not distrute any type of build script or
build system with JTS. You should be able to import the source code
for JTS into Netbeans and just build all the pacakges.
I'm not a Maven user, but I know this shouldn't be too hard with
something like Ant.

Note what I am really after is to be able to open up the source in NetBeans
IDE
as a project so I can browse it easier. NB does great with maven 2 projects
which is not what seems to be used for jts and jtsio at least for version
1.8
