I'd prefer to see an implementation of the Replication API and/or the
Subscription API over building something specific to jUDDI.

Some of the work to implement the Subscription API is already
available in jUDDI (in the form of subscription-API datatypes ... see
the "org.apache.juddi.datatype.subscription" package).

As Anne indicated, if you're using a DBMS that supports replication
you may be able to achieve what you're after much quicker that way.
