Hardly surprising. Last I looked TLS is supported by blowing a machine 
register, (FS I think?) and there's
no way boost can compete with an ABI integrated mechanism.

Oooo .. thanks for that! Will have to investigate! (Criticism of paper: no date 
on it! mallocs et all change fast,
nice to have dates).
