JOB DESCRIPTION: =============== Sakonnet is seeking Java Developers who are highly motivated individuals with a strong background in Java and Object-Oriented programming. Responsibilities include design, development and support of software programs and simulation methodologies for risk management, risk control, and risk assessment for the complete Xenon�application. EXPECTED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: ================ The Developer must possess a high degree of facility with advanced computer applications and environments. Exposure with software development tools (J2EE, EJBeans, JMS, Swing, XML, JBoss and Java Webstart), GUI development, financial markets and the energy industry is preferred. Having excellent problem solving/analytical skills such as the ability to investigate and fix technical issues quickly (e.g., troubleshooting, analyzing log files, fixing bugs) is essential and outstanding oral and written communication skills are a necessity.
