Hi,

short notice and highly specialized, but just in case somebody here
cares:

I'll give a talk in the software engineering graduate seminar today at
4:10pm about the Aiden Notation that is used to describe
talkout-and-walking patterns, such as this one:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9xAs14m9T8
I'll try to explain the notation and more importantly how it has helped
the community to describe and discover new patterns. Many videos, but no
live demos unfortunately. No siteswaps.

This is part of the SSSG seminar series in Newell Simon Hall 1305
(http://isri.cmu.edu/events/sssg.html). The seminar runs 3:30 to 4:50,
but I'll have the second slot starting probably somewhen between 4:00
and 4:15pm. If interested, feel free to walk in while the seminar is
running and find a seat. The seminar is open to the public.

Best regards,
Christian
