Hi Curtis, The local provider was broken again with an update to cgroups-lite. This then triggered an apparmor protection mechanism from the host machine, and left apt in an incomplete state.
The symptoms are that install hooks fail to run for units. Tracked in bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/juju-core/+bug/1247299 The fix has landed in lp:juju-core/1.16 along with a version bump to 1.16.3. (r1982). The fix is also now in trunk. Can we roll this out as a real release? The fix is a one liner to have the machines being started by the local provider to think they are lxc containers (which they are). The only impact of this is that lxc shouldn't get installed - but it was before by mistake. This only impacts the local provider, and not lxc containers elsewhere.
