Just wanted to state that, while I obviously have no vote in the matter
(since I am not part of the charmers team), it would really be in the best
interest to accept Charles on the team.

Charles is a great guy that has extremely helpful and patient with me while
I ensure that my Juju Charm fits to the policy of the Charm Store and
during the time when he blocked the charm from being merged upstream, he
explained very clearly both why it was blocked (the policy itself) as well
as why the policy exists, providing clear examples / scenarios that helped
me understand why I needed to fix my Charm and put it on par in terms of
quality with all the upstream Charms. He not only replied to me in IRC,
recommended ways to improve my Charm, but he also added the same
recommendations on the Launchpad bug (for merge) so I could easily
reference in the future (which really felt like he was going even more of
out the way to help me).

So while I don't have a vote in the matter, I urge the charmers team to
accept Charles Butler's application. He has shown the competency, patience,
and kindness that are needed both in the Charmers team as well as the
Ubuntu community as a whole.
