I +1 for Markdown.

Everybody on github uses markdown (go ahead, flame me with the 10 other
variants it supports - markdown is the dominant one there)

I use it in my blogging, for mind mapping, for pretty much everything I do.
Its a fluid syntax that lets me regurgitate content and intent instead of
spending time doing tedious formatting with an XML format that I have
actively sought to replace with tech like SLIM and HAML.

This has implications on ease of i18n conversion as well (with the
assumption there are python tools similar to whats available in camp ruby)

MAKE THIS HAPPEN!
