I work for a company where we are big fans of Julia, and are using it for several projects. We have thrown around the idea of hosting a meetup. We have the space and the resources to put it on, and could provide some good content. I know there are some active Julia devs at the UW but I wanted to put out feelers to see who might be interested in attending, or even better, giving a talk or demo. I guarantee a good time will be had by all.
