After installing Julia language on my Windows 7 PC (Windows Self-Extracting Archive 64 bit) I started the Julia console and ran Pkg.update(). This resulted in following error message:
*ERROR: couldn't update ....julia\v0.4.cache\JuliaParser using git remote update* I also installed Atom and after the first start Atome recompiled a number of modules and then halted with following error message: *Error loading Atom.jl package* *Go to the Packages → Julia → Open Terminal menu and* *run Pkg.update()in Julia, then try again.* *If you still see an issue, please report it to:* *_ http://discuss.junolab.org/_ <http://discuss.junolab.org/_>* Don't know whether the same cause is in effect in both cases. Can anyone advice on the cause and how to overcome this issue? Thanks
