Stefan, I just noticed a spam message on the JPP list today. I believe you do have to be subscribed to the mailing list to send a message. I'll make a note of the e-mail address from the spam message I spotted. there should be a way to kick them off the mailing list at SourceForge. I may have time to check on this tomorrow. I'll report back to the list with my findings.
I apologize to everyone for the hassle with the spam messages, and I'll do my best to get it stopped.
