With the help of Andreas and Stefan I have successfully started our migration to Subversion in a manner that will (hopefully) preserve our CVS history.
Please freeze any contributions to the CVS. It may take a few hours this morning for the conversion to complete, so be patient with me. :] When the conversion has completed and I have created the stable branch in the SVN I will post another message to the list to let the developers know the SVN repository is ready for use.
