In my database I got 154 subscribers in all the JPP list history, but I
suppose that many people is not already subscribed on the list. In the last
6 months of 2007, 51 different people sent messages to the list.
However, on sourceforge[1] it says:

messages
Approximate subscriber count: 74
Probably it's the right count.
