No, I didn't do any direct comparisons with Shewchuk's (rightly famous) 
Triangle library.  It would be interesting to know which is faster.  I 
will not be surprised if his code is more robust - he has a deeper 
knowledge and far more experience with triangulation robustness than I do.

So test away once the alpha version of JTS is available - I'll be *very* 
interested to know the results.
