Hi, You can paste the bounding box to text editor and use it then as a BBOX parameter when hand writing WMS/WFS/WCS calls, for example. Well, you must edit the bbox text a bit but anyway it helps a lot.

I realize that coordinate of the bounding box draw the diagonal of the active view. What is the usage for? On the other hand I image that a similar command should select the four coordinates of the active view and save them as a polygon to a new vector layer, in order to have a sort of bookmark of views with their right zoom.
