Hi, SkyJUMP with igor is doing conversion with ogr2ogr.exe located at \SkyJUMP\Jump\bin\ogr\bin with a bunch of dll's. They have been captured from the FWTools delivery. Ogr2ogr is using the included Proj4 for coordinate transformations. System works well but it is for Windows only and does not necessarily suit well with the philosophy of OpenJUMP.

Igor does much more than kml. There is also a small kml pure java plugin in SkyJUMP (I have tested it on OpenJUMP a few weeks ago), but Igor is a tool which can be used without *JUMP, and which gives access to a powerfull transformation tool.
