discussions about tools used in projects (code versioning, wiki, tracker) come 
up from time to time. usually nothing changes because

- the old tools work reliably 
- nobody wants to convert/reenter data (e.g. wiki)
- lot's of issues are not about the tools but the way people organize, or 
better often lack organization

long talk short:
i think we are lacking developers, not a new version control system. we could 
switch to git, i merely don't see the need, as usually everyone fiddles in his 
own corner.
for all other things it's similar. we lack people administering the website, 
forums, trackers.. but the systems itself, far from being perfect at least do 
what they are meant to.
i simply don't want to "waste" manpower on on a tool migration combined with 
the risk of data loss or functionality that currently works.
