Hi!
I created a layer, put a single point, tryed to save as GML file and
received the following error:

Jukka is right, the same dialog is used in both case and it asks for a
template

I think that with the current menus the output template is always asked and
this very old bug can be closed.

It seems that GML 2.0 needs an output template.
It happens that "Save dataset as file..." doesn't ask for a template.
The other menu item "Save dataset as..." asks for a template
I can't remember why OpenJUMP needs two Save Dataset as menu items
