Hi, There is still a problem with layers which have not yet a datasource. I think new datatypes sould not be available in the drop-down menu until they are handled by most drivers (minimum = shapefile/postgis/jml). May be it could help if a general tool could convert a featurecollection from new to old attribute types (to be used by drivers until new datatypes are fully implemented).
