we have now also a merge by attribute function in the new OpenJUMP 1.2 C.
can you try this function first?
But i would also like to see what is wrong with the mapgen function. So
you can send me the file and give some advises. (could it be, that the
problem is that some polygons are not merged.. because they are not
touching each other properly?)
