    This sounds pretty nifty.  This would tie in nicely to JUMP's DataStore
    framework (which handles streaming data from a remote store and caching
    it for viewing and manipulation purposes).  It should be easy to
    develop
    DataStore drivers for GDBMS data sources.

    Hopefully someone will get interested in this and take this on.
