I have no absolute knowledge of this request but.....
Digitizers, going back to the early 1980's and still today, can be
configured to operate in
Point Mode or Stream Mode.
Point Mode sent a coordinate for each press of button "0" on the
puck/stylus/cursor
Stream Mode send a coordinate either continuously or whenever the
puck/stylus/cursor moved
Every time I hear about "stream mode digitizing" I think back to my past.
