I think some of this is going to depend on the specifics of your "login module". But here is rough outline of how I might do it: [1] Retrieve the names of the layers that need to be added based on the user id. [2] Programmatically add those layers to the LayerViewPanel. If you want more help I think that we are going to need more details.
