Hi R1, Félicitations! Thanks for the opportunity to try out your new GIS. I'm looking forward to seeing what you've been up to. I downloaded the orbisgis-1.0beta.zip. Unfortunately, when I run the orbisgis.bat file, it hangs up at the splash screen. This is not unusual for a first release, and happened many times when OpenJump first released. I am running it under XP using Java Version 1.5.0_12. Please let me know if there is any other information I can provide.
