Hi Dante,
thanks for your effort with the dxf plugin.
I tried the plugin with some dxf topographic maps (from 50 to 60 Mb) and it
seems to work fine and fast.
I agree with Michaël: you should host the plugin in OpenJUMP web site.

  Hi Dante,

Nice plugin,

The DXFViewer application is great and the plugin for OpenJUMP is fast.
I have not much DXF data to make tests, but it works well with the one I
have.

Here are some questions and suggestions :
1 - Is DXFViewer open-source ?
2 - It could be interesting to separate core classes from interface
classes of the DXFViewer application to use only the core one in the
OpenJUMP PlugIn.
3 - Attributes of dxf objects are translated into spanish (?) in the
jump feature schema.
I'm not sure these attributes have to be internationalized as they are
dxf-format attributes . It may be more safe to use english dxf tags
(eventually pre-fixed) in order to always have the same feature schema
for a imported dxf file (to make it possible for a dxf-writer to
recognize dxf-attributes more easily for example). Just my opinion,
let's hear other users.
4 - Documentation says that DXFViewer can read zipped files. Is this
right for the OpenJUMP's plugin ? If yes, it would be useful to make zip
files visible when one select driver-dxf format.

Anyway, thanks a lot for this new plugin.
I think it should be hosted on sourceforge. In the meantime, if you
can't host it on a web page, I can put it with some other drivers on my
own site in order to be able to add a link on OpenJUMP wiki.
