Thanks, I just started playing with Open Jump and was happy to see an
SDE feature in it.  So I guess there is nothing I can tweak to make it
see those feature classes.

Hi Zach,

  You probably aren't doing anything wrong.  The fault is probably
mine for assuming that layers (feature classes) are always part of a
feature-dataset.  Unfortunately, I don't currently have an ArcSDE test
environment set up so I can't do anything about it.
