Hi,
1. have been training geologists in using OpenJUMP
for basic GIS with SVG and map outputs with geological symbols.
Please advise how I can send you a pdf file with step by step exercises
such that after it is verified can be on your website and benefit others (as I
have benefited from very useful pdfs)
2. Jumps analysis Overlay = Intersection, in many a GIS application
Union = geometric outline (just makes one polygon
out of all the geometry)
But he UNION as in many a GIS application is not present.
3. Please consider making UNION of two layers by adding
both layer's attribute tables in the resulting file.
A + B = C (C contains a table with attributes of both A and B
where there is no intersection, attributes are not
populated)
Been trying to make an exercise on Mineral prognostication,
but is held up at this point as there is no UNION.
