Hi,

New plugin for attribute aggregation (alpha version).
Use case : aggregate a feature attribute of a source layer (ex. union geometry, compute average geometry length, sum geometry area, sum population, compute average age...) onto features of a target layer (ex a country layer) based on a geometry predicate (ex. for cities within each state, for roads intersecting each state...).

The alpha version of the plugin is available at http://geo.michaelm.free.fr/OpenJUMP/resources/aggregation-0.1.jar
It is installed in a PlugIn menu

@Stefan : such a plugin already exists in tools>analysis>two layers, but with limited capabilities. Hope this one will be able to replace the other one (at the moment, mine misses minority, majority and median function). Another plugin exists from Martin Davis in tools menu which computes a kind of cartesian product between 2 layers (but if a country contains 3 cities, there is 3 features in the result layer wich combine attributes of both layers - so no aggregation)

Michaƫl
