You make a good point. I'll try to get it fixed. On a related issue, I had considered reusing the distance entry as a scale factor for the attribute value. In that case I would leave the field enabled, change the label to scale factor, and default the value to 1. Are there any use cases for that capability? I can think of one: units conversion.
