Hei Ravi,

it means there has been a problem in transfering attributes. I.e. The function transfers the attributes between original and new features by checking overlaps. If this warning appears then two objects in the source layer overlap with one object in the target layer. So it is not clear from which source object to take the attribute values.

I am not sure if it takes the attributes of the first attribute/the last/or if the attribute values are left empty. However, the latter case you would see in the attribute table. I.e. if there is no feature that has all fields empty, then the attributes of the first (or last?) found source feature should be taken.

if the dataset isn't that large you may send it to me - together with a suggestion on how to help the user to find a solution. (However, the problem is probably that I can not report on which polygon (by FID) has the problem). It is probably best to reset all values to be empty?

Hi,
trying 'Intersect Polygon Layers', A and B, Getting a message at the bottom
left ribbon in yellow.
'Found more than one source feature in Layer B'

Generally such messages are also in the output window.
But this one is not in the output window.

Pl clarify
1. What does this indicate
2. Is this an error in processing

Cheers

Ravi Kumar
