a) I have added to the Nightly Build the Pirol Image loader.
In the "load" dialog - you will find the option "Sextante Raster Image".
This system works a bit different then the original from VividSolutions
b) if you have further developer questions I would ask you to use the
jpp-devel list (on Sourceforge). We also have a new user list as there
have been once some problems with this list. The other user list is
hosted by Google. (see also the links on wiki page)
