Hei Sergio,
not sure, but there was some work done by Erwan Bocher on DEM modeling.
The page is unfortunately in French:
http://geosysin.iict.ch/irstv-trac/browser/tanato
http://projetsigle.free.fr/ressources/logiciels/jdgal/OJRasterMap_Plugin1.0.zip
so, not really hydrological modelling.
Mhm.. I just see that the old TANATO page doesn't exist anymore. Maybe
it is best to write Erwan (erwan.bocher - at - gmail.com) if you are
interested. But an answer will probably take some time, since he is busy
with organizing a conference (OGRS 2009). It also seems like they will
include the tanato things into OrbisGIS.
However, I should mention that Kalypso has some hydrological modeling
modules (a Java platform: http://kalypso.bjoernsen.de/index.php?id=1&L=1
) and several other stuff (proprietary and free) is out there to for
other open source GIS. Write me again if you are interested in more links.
