Hi
We are deploying an access network for L2 Ethernet services using a non juniper manufacturer. This is a product set specifically targeted at these MEF services and is very good and cheap. But is only for L2 services. We have other customers that will only require L3 services. We have an internal discussion ongoing regarding whether we use the same L2 access CPE or a L3 CPE. So example: Customer just wants L3 services with BGP Option 1: use same L2 CPE equipment and backhaul to L3 aggregation and have consolidated BGP edge there. Option 2: use separate L3 CPE and dark fibre to same L3 aggregation nodes, have BGP on CPE. There are pro's/cons to each setup and I wanted to find out what other service providers were doing when delivering their services. Any comments: _______________________________________________ juniper-nsp mailing list juniper-nsp@puck.nether.net https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/juniper-nsp
