We have a couple of MX-480 running junos-10.0-R2.10. Occasionally (it's
happened 3 or 4 times in 4 months on the both boxes) rpd deamon stopped
responding and you have to give him (rpd deamon) a hard reset.
The interesting thing is when rpd becomes stuck you could not execute commands
like show route, show bgp summary, show isis database etc, when you try to run
one of the listed commands, the command prompt does not come up back.
The boxes are getting 2/3 full bpg feeds along with isis. There is no problem
with the memory so far. Has anyone seen this issue on the MX.
