I may be wrong, but for me CSPF will use the te-metric configured on the igp to calculate the best path an lsp will take through the network. The metric configure directly under the lsp will be used to determine which lsp will be active in the routing table.

Hi Experts,

This is really to confirm my understanding is correct wrt to how RSVP
inherits its metric,

when RSVP and OSPF is configured in-conjunction, RSVP will inherit OSPFs
cost to get to that network? presume it's a flat area 0 OSPF network.
Configuring a manual metric within RSVP LSP will override this behavior
for
that specific LSP.
