The switch only has L2 basic functions, anything will be managed via PoE, just 
need to have a redundant PS for protection.

Since the switch has both an AC and DC power supply, what 
would it do :-)?

That's when you, accidentally, plug the 208VAC source into 
the 110VAC power supply :-).
