I think there's no simple yes or no answer to this question.
I'd borrow couple of these load the desired code and spend month or two in lab 
doing POC testing making sure that everything I expect from the final setup is 
working as desired.
If bugs are encountered I'd ask vendor to fix them "before I place the order" 
or ask for alternative options if timelines of fixes don't align with those of 
the project.
I believe that architectural decision is a complex decision processes with a 
lot of moving parts and dependencies and can't be reduced to "hey its new and 
costs less".
