I tried the knobs in the kb as well with no luck. Never got the 40G port to detect as 40. Just split 10s. trying to 40 on 2 ports to a QFX virt chassis.

I got the impression there was a knob to allow it but I couldn’t make it work, and, didn’t need it :) My understanding is BNG isn’t supported etc. at the moment. I guess with no MIC hole, you can’t put an MS-MIC in there for CGN/whatever, if you care about that. Otherwise seems like a pretty good box for a bunch of scenarios, at what seems like quite a reasonable price. It’s just above the level where it’s too fast for software routers, so, can imagine in.. maybe 2-3 years, the new release same performance box is virtualised. > On 14/05/2018, at 7:41 PM, Bill Blackford <bblackf...@gmail.com> wrote: > > Anyone using MX204? > > Thoughts? > > Benefits / Drawbacks? > > Thank you in advance. > > B > > _______________________________________________ > juniper-nsp mailing list juniper-nsp@puck.nether.net > https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/juniper-nsp _______________________________________________ juniper-nsp mailing list juniper-nsp@puck.nether.net https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/juniper-nsp --- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. https://www.avast.com/antivirus _______________________________________________ juniper-nsp mailing list juniper-nsp@puck.nether.net https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/juniper-nsp
