As far as I rememeber – at least when I installed on macOS – anaconda asked if it could update my env-variable by modyfying my bashrc on its own. Are you using windows ? It may be that on windows they recommend you to use the Anaconda launcher which will not modify the Env Variable, but shell started from the launcher will have Path setup correctly. -- M
